Reasons Parents Use KDCCC
~ I am able to run errands, go to the laundromat. It is very helpful. I have 4 children and a master’s degree. I’m just single, unemployed and poor.
~ I am the caregiver for grandchildren. Two are baby twins, a 3 year old boy and 5 year old girl. It gives me and hubby a little quiet time, appointment time.
~ Free time for myself and to get important appointments accomplished.
~ Able to go on job search and errands.
~ Part-time work, housework, a break from my children.
~ KDCCC helps me in so many ways when I need time to study, and for Dr. Appointments.
~ I have some physical issues that I see therapists and my practitioner for and therefore it is a lot easier to make those appointments because of the KDCCC.
~ Because I work from home-which often requires me to be on the phone with clients, it is easier for me to be more productive w/my job when she is at KDCCC.
~ KDCCC helped me transition from unemployed to employed. I have been able to search for jobs while my daughter was at the Center. I am currently employed now.
~ I work part-time, but can’t afford full-time care. Between using family members and KDCCC, I am able to work to help support my family.
~ KDCCC has helped so much with going back to school. It has allowed me to have uninterrupted time to study as well as take tests.
~ I go to appointments – some are extremely important. I also get errands done.
Registering your ChildParents may come to the Center between 11am and 3pm Monday through Friday to register their children. They will need to fill out a short registration form, bring their child's immunization records and health insurance card. Once the children are registered they may attend KDCCC up to 6 times per month but no more than 3 days in one week. Parents may reserve spots up to 2 weeks in advance so that if they have an appointment we will save the spot for them. Otherwise we care for up to 20 children per day and signing up is on a first come first served basis. We serve children from 6 weeks through 5 years.
